History
In 1892, the first generation Ikeda Kanematsu opened a haberdashery in Honmachi, Kisarazu City.
1930: Wholesale business and part-time work
1934: Hisashi Ikeda becomes the second president
In 1953, the company was converted into a joint-stock company with capital of 1 million yen.
Established "Tomitaya Shoten Co., Ltd."
In 1965, the company discontinued retail business and focused on wholesale.
Company headquarters moved to Nitta, Kisarazu City
1972: Ryo Ikeda becomes the third president
1980: Computer system introduced
1983: Kisarazu General Wholesaler Association established, with Ryo Ikeda appointed as the first chairman
1985: Expanded into Kisarazu General Wholesale Commercial Park
1986: Picking system and logistics system introduced
Online, EOS system operational
1992: Celebrates 100 years since its founding
1993: Tsune Ikeda becomes the fourth president
1993: Business supplies division established
1993: Obtained qualifications for handling specific poisonous and deleterious substances
